Biodiversity and Climate Change

These processes could push the region toward ecological transitions that are difficult to reverse, with impacts on local communities and the climate. The policy brief calls for integrating climate and biodiversity agendas, strengthening protected areas, and enhancing regional cooperation to maintain the Amazon’s connectivity and resilience.
